How CheekyPrice.co.uk Works

CheekyPrice.co.uk is a shopping comparison website. We build a page around a product, and list the different online shops, or 'merchants', who currently have that product for sale. The merchants are ranked by price, with the cheapest one showing at the top of the pile. This allows you to pick the best price and save anything up to hundreds of pounds on expensive electrical items. The Fast loves saving you money. We get a real kick out of it.

Hidden costs and delivery charges

CheekyPrice.co.uk will show you any hidden costs. The main one of these is delivery charges, aka P&P. When we started working on the website, one of the things that was apparent was that some delivery charges can run into a lot of extra money. And these needed to be factorered in to the total price in the comparison. You'll find all of the products listed on our webite show the delivery costs.

Voucher codes

Everyone likes a bargain and finding voucher codes that reduce the price of a product is a great way to save money. As you'll no doubt have heard, online shops often offer voucher codes that you use when buying your item to save extra money.

One of the things we do each morning at CheekyPrice.co.uk is to search the web for any new voucher codes that can be used on the products on our site. Our search is exhaustive and we'll list any codes that are currently active. A lot of websites will list expired voucher codes but we strive to only show current, fresh, juicy voucher codes on our site. The codes are factored into the price comparison and the price ranking.

Expert Guides

CheekyPrice.co.uk loves to save you money, but we also hire in talented writers to create helpful guides. Unlike other websites, we don't recycle content from other sites. We want to get you real information that will help you make important buying decisions for your home. You'll find guides for all the major sections on our website.

CheekyPrice.co.uk will remember you

We realise that sometimes you don't have long to look around our site. CheekyPrice.co.uk will remember any of the products you've recently viewed and let you access them quickly on your next visit. We do this by setting a cookie on your computer. There's full details of how this works on our privacy policy page. This is something that sites like Amazon do all the time and we thought it might be helpful to our shoppers.

Advanced searching - finding what you really want

There's nothing worse than not being able to find what you want. CheekyPrice.co.uk wants to help you get a product with all the features you need. So we've created our advanced search tool for each departmet that will let you quickly find say a TV with Bluetooth, or a washing machine with an 8kg capacity drum. That and a zillion other features. We go through each product by hand and add all the different features we can think of into the tool.

Up-to-date stock

One of the major things we wanted to get right with this website was stock availability. Our early testers often let us know that the stock shown in our data was not accurate. What eventually settled on a system that involved part human, part programming to go to each sellers product page and check the delivery. We use a combination of computer programs and manual checking to make sure that the stock on our websites is up to date. While it's almost impossible to by 100% accurate, we like to think CheekyPrice.co.uk gets it right 99% of the time!

Set a price alert and grab a bargain!

Here's something else that you might like. There's a little link on every product page on CheekyPrice.co.uk that says 'Set A Price Alert'. Click this and you can set the maximum price you'd like to pay for an item. Prices of goods - especially electrical items, tend to go down over time. If you set a price alert, we'll email you if and when that item gets down to the price you've set. Free. Easy. And, who knows,you might grab a real bargain.
